I always used to wander the forest alone as a child, and one of my fondest memories is this one time when I wandered a little further than usual and found the largest tree I’d ever seen. I sat beneath it for a long time, and tried to reach around it. I remember thinking that fifty people could join hands and be able to encircle it properly, hugging the trunk in order to reach around it.
